08 / THE HUMAN CONNECTION

The human
behind the universe.

Rooted in Denver. Connected to Aguascalientes. Created for the world.

One universe. Every sound.
Everyone belongs.

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, with roots in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Ruben Ortiz Jr. created ORBIT with a vision: bring the entire electronic music universe together, and put the people at its heart.

That vision goes beyond a playlist or a festival lineup. It brings fans, artists, venues, festivals, and the wider industry into one shared space—where discovering a new sound can lead to a new experience, a new friendship, or a new connection.

With Denver as his hometown and Aguascalientes as part of his heritage, Ruben wants ORBIT to feel open to people across cities, countries, and cultures. A place for the artists you already love, the emerging talent you haven’t heard yet, and the people who make every dance floor feel alive.

The goal is simple: make the EDM world feel more connected, more accessible, and more human. Wherever you’re from and whatever your frequency, there’s a place for you in ORBIT.
